For dental & medical practices

Your patients trust you with their records. We help you keep that trust.

24/7 security monitoring and hands-on IT support for practices that can't afford downtime — from the front desk to the X-ray sensor.

Everything in your practice we look after
  • Operatory and exam room PCs
  • X-ray sensors and imaging workstations
  • Practice management and imaging software
  • Servers, NAS, and patient-record backups
  • Front desk, printers, and scanners
  • Network, Wi-Fi, and firewall

What keeps practice owners up at night

Healthcare is one of the most targeted industries for ransomware — and a small practice rarely has anyone watching.

01

Ransomware on the server

X-rays, charts, and schedules locked overnight. Patients rescheduled for days.

02

Backups nobody has tested

A backup that has never been restored is a guess, not a plan.

03

Shared logins

One password for the whole front desk means no record of who opened what.

04

The risk assessment no one did

HIPAA expects a security risk analysis. Most small practices don't have one on file.

05

Phishing at the front desk

Fake insurance and invoice emails are the most common way attackers get in.

06

Imaging PCs left behind

Older workstations tied to sensors and devices often miss updates for years.

Why practices choose IDKC

Remote monitoring catches threats. A technician who knows your operatories keeps the schedule running.

Remote — 24/7

Security that never closes

  • A SOC team watching every device, nights and weekends included
  • Suspicious devices isolated before patient data spreads
  • Server and NAS monitoring for unauthorized access
  • Updates and maintenance done after hours, not during appointments
On-site — scheduled

Someone who knows your office

  • Hands-on experience with X-ray sensors and imaging software
  • New operatory PCs set up and connected to your devices
  • The same technician, not a rotating help desk
  • Staff questions answered in person, between patients

On-site visits cover Cliffside Park & Fort Lee, NJ and the surrounding area — including Manhattan.

HIPAA, in plain language

The HIPAA Security Rule asks every practice to protect patient information in three ways. Here's where we help.

Technical safeguards

Who can see patient data

  • Individual logins for every staff member
  • Encryption on laptops, servers, and backups
  • Access and activity logs kept on record
  • Endpoint protection on every device
Physical safeguards

The equipment in your office

  • An up-to-date list of every device
  • Screens that lock when staff step away
  • Secure setup of servers and network gear
  • Safe retirement of old PCs and drives
Administrative safeguards

The plan behind it

  • An annual security risk assessment
  • Backup and recovery plan, tested
  • Short security training for staff
  • Records ready if you're ever audited

HIPAA compliance is a shared responsibility between your practice and its vendors. We handle the IT and security side and give you the documentation to show it. We are not a law firm and don't provide legal advice.

Priced by operatory, not by guesswork

One practice fee covers the shared systems every office has — servers, imaging, and the front desk. Then a simple rate for each operatory.

Medical Essential
Advanced XDR protection
from $770/mo
$550 practice fee + $110 per operatory
  • Behavioral detection on every device
  • Server, imaging PC, and backup monitoring
  • Annual HIPAA security risk assessment
  • Scheduled on-site support visits

Practice fee includes up to 2 servers or imaging workstations and 3 front-office PCs. Minimum 2 operatories. Additional devices at our standard per-device rates. Prices shown for a 2-operatory practice.

Questions practices ask us

Will you work with our imaging and practice management software?

Yes. We support the PCs, servers, and devices your software runs on — including X-ray sensors and imaging workstations — and work with your software vendor when an issue is on their side.

Will this disrupt patient appointments?

No. Installs, updates, and maintenance are scheduled after hours or on weekends. On-site visits are planned around your schedule.

Does working with you make us HIPAA compliant?

No vendor can make a practice compliant on its own. We cover the IT and security safeguards and give you the records to prove it; policies and staff practices stay with your office. We'll show you exactly where each side stands.

What happens during the free security check-up?

We visit your office, review your computers, backups, network, and logins, and give you a short written summary of what's working and what isn't. No obligation.

Share it at your next staff meeting.

Our medical brochure covers what we monitor, how HIPAA safeguards are handled, and pricing — on two pages.
